Bringing Wellness to the UCSF Community

We’re thrilled to introduce the inaugural AANHPI Health & Wellness Resource Week—a celebration of holistic health and well-being rooted in the diverse traditions of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. In September 2024, APASA was honored to receive the UCSF Community Well-Being Grant, allowing us to bring this vision to life and foster a culture of wellness for all communities at UCSF.

Our Vision & Goals

From April 28 to May 9, 2025, we invite the entire UCSF community to learn, explore, and experience traditional and modern wellness practices from across the Asian diaspora. This weeklong event will highlight Eastern holistic healing, align with UCSF Wellness Program pillars, and showcase health practices from historically underrepresented and excluded AANHPI groups. Our goal is to create an inclusive, welcoming space where everyone can engage in meaningful conversations about well-being and discover new ways to care for their health—mind, body, and spirit.

Who Is Invited?

We welcome everyone to our events—regardless of race, gender, religion, age, or ability — and encourage participation from:

✅ UCSF Staff, Faculty, Learners (students, postdocs, residents)
✅ UCSF Patients, Alumni, Volunteers
✅ The broader UCSF community

If you need accommodations to participate, please reach out to the event contact listed in the UCSF calendar or email [email protected] as soon as possible.

Join us in celebrating health, wellness, and the richness of AANHPI traditions!
